To “The White Dove” from Jože Ple?nik
Route description
Picturesque trail will take you through the Prekmurje plain landscape with Gori?ko hills in the background and surrounded by vineyards and versatile Pannonian villages. You can try different culinary delicacies from local vendors along the way and see different elements of the local architecture (the “?iga” fountain, thatched houses …), as well as the most known cultural monument – the church by Jože Ple?nik in Bogojina that locals call “The White Dove”. This road is pretty flat and is partly included in the local cycling path, it is suitable for recreational cyclists and families. At the interception Bogojina-Ivanci, we recommend you to be careful on the road, which is usually very busy with traffic (this part is around 2 kilometres long). The route is marked accordingly.
