Hidden in the Castle Courtyard 2025: Roland Abreu Horizon Quartet

Roland Abreu, a Cuban jazz double bassist, is one of the most prominent young bassists on the international scene. He comes to Murska Sobota in the company of Ratko Zjaca, an internationally awarded guitarist and composer who is behind an extensive international discography and is well known to visitors to the hidden and castle courtyard, and Vid Jamnik, one of the best European jazz musicians of the younger generation. They will be joined on stage by the excellent local drummer Jože Zadravec. They will introduce themselves to us with the Roland Abreu Horizon Quartet project.
