Yaremi Kordos is an exceptional singer from Havana, who brings the authenticity of Cuban musical tradition, charisma and unstoppable energy to every performance. She is one of the few artists to have collaborated with the legendary musicians of the Buena Vista Social Club project, and her interpretation combines rich Afro-Cuban roots with modern musical expression. In the Yaremi Kordos Cuban Jazz Evolution Trio project, she performs together with two top musicians: Cuban double bass virtuoso Roland Abreu and internationally renowned jazz guitarist Ratko Zjača. Their music intertwines Afro-Cuban rhythms, modern jazz and world music influences into a unique soundscape, which Yaremi describes as Havana Soul Meets Modern Jazz. Expect an evening full of rhythm, passion, improvisation and top-notch musicianship, where the tradition of Havana meets the creative freedom of modern jazz.
