Mom's Letter – A Fairy Tale That Really Happened

We invite you to the touching and at the same time joyful performance of Mom's Letter or The Fairy Tale That Really Happened on Friday, March 6, 2026, at 7 pm in the Gornja Radgona Cultural Center. It can be a wonderful gift for mothers, daughters, grandmothers and friends on Women's Day.

The play is not a classic fairy tale, but a true story about the timeless love between a mother and daughter. Milena leaves her homeland and family, and her ten-year-old daughter Carmen gets a stepmother. Twenty years later, Carmen and her children return to her mother's land, where, while reminiscing about their childhood and their wicked stepmother, they connect the story with Snow White - also as a play within a play. The red thread is her mother's letter, which Carmen finds under her pillow but does not open for many years.
