Opening of the exhibition by Saša Bezjak: I Am Her

You are cordially invited to the opening of the exhibition Saša Bezjak: Jaz ti ona/ I Am Her, which will be held at the premises of the Old Customs House (Lackova ulica 28) on Friday, August 1, 2025, at 7:00 PM. The exhibition will be on view until August 14, 2025.
“Saša Bezjak is a visual artist who works in parallel in the fields of painting, sculpture and performance, but is best known for her drawings - embroidery on various, mainly home textiles”
"Saša Bezjak's drawings can therefore be fundamentally understood as socially critical works that speak of inequalities and, in this context, especially of the position of women in a patriarchal society, while at the same time addressing these problems in a distinctly personal way, through the traces they leave in an individual's psychological and physical structure. Therefore, they have a multifaceted effect - they directly touch everyone on an instinctive level, while at the same time encouraging more demanding viewers to reflect and search for deeper meanings."
