Orpheus 35

You are cordially invited to the ORPHEUS 35 concert, with which the Orfej Ljutomer Chamber Choir, conducted by Vito Žerdin, will celebrate its 35th anniversary.

The program will feature a variety of compositions from the Slovenian, French and Austrian treasury of choral literature, and the choir will also premiere award-winning compositions by three young Slovenian composers, winners of the Ventus Aquilo competition, which Orfej performed as part of the association last year.

Some of the compositions will also be enriched with their playing by musicians we have invited to participate for this occasion – the trombone trio consisting of Žan Žuman, Larisa Srša and Aleš Levačič, pianist Hana Taškov and organist Jernej Mazej.
