Radgon Summer: Take Nine Orchestra + Bandana

As part of the Radgona Summer 2026, the Freedom Square in Gornja Radgona will come alive with the rhythms of jazz, swing and pop-rock. On Friday, July 3, 2026, from 8 p.m., the bands Take Nine Orchestra and Bandana will perform.

Take Nine Orchestra originated from the Gornja Radgona saxophonist chamber group, founded in 1997. In almost three decades of operation, they have formed a recognizable sound, consisting of hits from the big band era, jazz, swing, Dixieland and Latin jazz, together with musicians from the Pomurje music scene.

The evening will be opened by Bandana, a new band that interprets well-known pop-rock songs in its own way and also creates original songs. The group consists of Ana Frangež (vocals), Staš Sukič (guitar, vocals), Luka Škrilec (bass guitar) and Alen Kranjc (drums).

The evening will connect different musical generations, local creativity, and a relaxed summer atmosphere.
