Rudi Bučar Quintet

At the concert in Gornja Radgona, Rudi Bučar and his quintet will present a selection of new compositions that range from folk, blues and choral songs, all connected by a recognizable Istrian note. It is a sensitive, sincere and deeply emotional tribute to the landscape that Bučar carries within himself: "I cannot look at Istria objectively; Istria is mine, I live here. I feel that it is my mission to bring it to the world."

For more than two decades, Rudi Bučar has been combining the musical tradition of his native Istria with contemporary musical trends in a unique and recognizable way. With his exceptional vocal interpretation, poetic expression, and loyalty to tradition, he has marked the Slovenian music scene and enriched it with numerous award-winning compositions and albums that still live on concert stages at home and abroad.
