Soboš Summer 2026: ABOUT A SPARROW, A MOUSE AND A PANCAKE, House of Children and Arts and Bufeto Institute

An unusual group of people gather in a common home – the Hairy Mouse, the Winged Sparrow and the Buttery Pancake. At first, they live in harmony, each doing the work they are best at with their paws and wings. The Sparrow flies through the forest and gathers food, the Mouse chops wood with his teeth and heats the stove, and the Pancake cooks the most delicious and fatty soup. But when they swap everyday tasks, misunderstandings and problems arise... Will their friendship last?

The show combines the classic narration of a folk tale and traditional hand puppetry. With playfulness and humor, it talks about cooperation, work, and the importance of each member of the community. It is intended for children and families who will enjoy it, laugh at it - and maybe even wish for pancakes themselves.
