Soboški Days Festival 2026: Ion Delić

Ion Delić is a classical percussionist and composer, studying at the Royal Academy of Music in Copenhagen under the mentorship of Anders Kann Eltn, Johan Bridger, Soren Monrad and David Hildebrandt. After his education at the Conservatory of Music and Ballet in Maribor (mentor Martin Bajde), he studied at the Academy of Music, University of Ljubljana under the mentorship of Simon Klavžar.

Ion is the recipient of numerous awards, including the winner of the Opole International Marimbistic Competition (2023, Poland) and the recipient of 2nd prize at the Majao International Percussion Competition (2024, Tampere, Finland).

He performs as a soloist and has also collaborated with the RTV Slovenia Symphony Orchestra, the Copenhagen Philharmonic, and various wind and symphony orchestras in Denmark.

The concert will be held at the Evangelical Church in Murska Sobota. There is no admission fee.
