This happy day of culture 2025 in Spital

11.00: Press conference announcing the Year of Trstenjak 2026

On this year's Happy Culture Day, we kindly invite you to the Špital Museum in Gornja Radgona, where we will open the doors of the museum to all visitors between 10 am and 2 pm. During this time, you will be able to view the museum contents and exhibitions, which represent the rich cultural heritage of our region, free of charge.

At 11 am, a press conference will be held at the museum to announce the Trstenjak Year 2026, which the Municipality of Gornja Radgona is proclaiming on the 120th anniversary of the birth and 30th anniversary of the death of Dr. Anton Trstenjak.

Dr. Anton Trstenjak, born in Rodmošci near Gornja Radgona, was an outstanding Slovenian psychologist, anthropologist, thinker and humanist, whose work significantly marked Slovenian science and culture. The conference will present planned events with which the municipality, in cooperation with various institutions, will commemorate his rich legacy.
