Traditional Leopold Fair

The year is around the corner and on Friday, 15 November 2024, Trg svobode in Gornja Radgona will once again be buzzing with lively events at the traditional local Leopold Fair, one of the oldest fairs in the city of fairs and sparkling wine.

The traditional fair event has been held since 1700 on both banks of the Mura River in Gornja Radgona and in the Austrian Radgona (Bad Radkersburg).

It is therefore one of the oldest fairs of its kind in our area, where practically everything can be bought.

Every year, the fair attracts participants from near and far, who in their own way contribute to the varied content of the event:
- offer of domestic and artistic crafts,
- presentation of local and neighboring societies and institutes,
- presentation of the heritage of Prlekija,
- tastings of farm delicacies,
- culinary and wine offer.

You are invited to shop, walk and socialize between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m.
