Trejza's dream in Murska Sobota

The Trejzino senje (St. Teresa's Fair) in Murska Sobota is one of the fairs with the longest tradition. It takes place in the city center every year on October 15, on the feast day of Saint Teresa of Avila (1515–1582), a Spanish Carmelite nun, religious reformer, mystic, and saint. Pope Paul VI declared her the first woman to be a Doctor of the Church, thus recognizing the important role of women in the service of life and peace.

As every year, several hundred vendors will participate in the fair. A special section will be dedicated to artisans and craftsmen, while caterers will promote local cuisine with their delicacies.
