Hidden depths in a new light

Between October 15 and 25, 2026, Radgona (AT) and Gornja Radgona (SI) in Austria will be transformed into a cross-border venue for contemporary light art. The Water & Light Festival 2026 connects art, water, nature and science in a unique evening experience.

At twelve locations, light and sound installations will take visitors on a circular route through both cities, revealing the region's hidden treasures - thermal and mineral water, mofetta, geological features, and the mysterious world of water from the depths.

International artists will transform public spaces into magical experiences and present natural phenomena in a creative and inspiring way.

The festival is being created as part of the Interreg project deProfundis – "From the Depths / Aus der Tiefe" and invites visitors of all generations to discover the shared water landscape of two cities and two countries in a new way.
