Biothermal route
Route description
The starting point are the Mala Nedelja Biotherms, but you can join at any point along the way. We start from the parking lot and head in the direction of Bodislavci, where we see a cross on the left and a road on the right. We choose the latter and after about 100 metres, we turn left. When we see the gravel road on the left, we turn there and pass the Korošec chapel in Godemarci. After about a kilometre, we turn left from the main road and get to Vogričevci. When we exit the forest, we choose the other road to the right and then left, so we drive pass the chapel. The road leads us to the forest trail and Cezanjevci. After that, we turn right by the chapel and head towards Mekotnjak. After about 200 metres, we turn left and cross the railway track. We continue on the road that goes through fields and forests. When we arrive to the main road in Radomerje, we turn left in the direction of Ljutomer and turn left after about 200 metres, where we connect to the official cycling path. We drive pass the Old and the Main Square, where we fill our energy levels and look at the local sights. After that, we head towards Cezanjevci and join the cycling path, which is located right beside the Ščavnica River and leads almost all the way to Gajševci lake. We continue through Radoslavci pass the Kurbos vacation house, where we can enjoy in nice views, surrounded by forests and apple orchards. Through Kurščinci, the route takes us to Mala Nedelja, where we can see the Holy Trinity Church with a pleasant view and then continue towards Biotherme, where we end our journey.
The route is perfect for a full day trip and suitable for medium level cyclists. The use of mountain or trekking bicycles is advisable. The route is not suitable for city bicycles.
